raptor 700 vs. kfx 700
Well, if he likes top speed and does drag racing, the Raptor 700 is faster. Stock for stock, the rappy whips the KFX. With the mods I have I can stay ahead of a rappy for about 300-350 feet, but still get caught on top. Either bike will wheelie with ease, and they are both great bikes. I love my KFX and would never trade it for a raptor, its fast enough for me for what its used for. They are both very reliable, and there are no real known problems with either bike. I like my KFX mainly because of the V twin torque monster, and everybody doesnt have one. That is the most unappealing thing about the raptor to me, everybody and their dog as one. Hope this helps. Mine is smooth as silk as well as the others I have rode & tuned for friends. I have over 200 hrs on mine and it's been flawless. I ride for hours on end at the dunes and it is the most comfortable quad to ride there is besides a DS 650.

I agree w/ Hammerman. Rap 700 does have lots of engine vibration and very uncomfortable ride. The stock Rap is faster than the V-twin. Easier to ride wheelies on any shifter compared to a CVT trans quad.

You obviously have never ridden a KFX 700 to know they will wheelie easier than any other machine currently on the market. The CVT doesn't make much difference there.
When I had both my DS 650 and my KFX 700, the KFX would pull the DS off the line until about 30 mph, then it was lights out when the DS hits 3rd gear. That KFX is an absolute blast to ride and like it was mentioned earlier, not everyone has one. It could benefit from better suspension. Mine seemed to handle better the faster I rode it.

I would think the kfx700 is easier to wheelie than the rappy700, my friends dad has one and i saw my friend drive it and he just gives it extra gas and it pops up, it also feels really light when your going fast, cuz theres hardly anything holding the front end down cuz of the power and when you slow down, the front end goes down again, reminds me of an airplane and looks mint. the sound of the v twin really gets me pumped.
for power, my friends little bro once had a friend over two days after they got the 700. (the were 8 years old i think.) his little bro's friend hopped on when it was warming up (dad started up, went inside to wiat for to warm up) The kid pinned it and it did 1 and a quarter backflip, the kid fell off right away but the quad did a full backflip and then landing on its butt and just bounced around (kind of like an ATV Offroad-Fury1, 2 or 3 wipe-out)

I would have to disagree on the rappy being more comfortable to ride. The KFX is way bigger making it much more comfortable to a person with any size at all. I feel too big on the raptor 700. Thats why the bomb is comfy, because of its size, much like the KFX. They both wheelie with little to no effort. Again, they are both great bikes, and fun to ride. Just depends on what you what in a bike.

you dont have to be very big to ride a kfx700, but you do look funny if you're only 4'9" and riding it,
the kfx700 might be better for older people cuz of comfort and cvt so its nicer on tighter trails, the ds650 might be better for sore/semi-injured young people who still want to do some stuff on a track, the raptor would probly do the best on the track, but i like the ds650 the best out of those three,
If i had a choice, i would pic the ds650, if the ds650 was left out, i would pick the rappy, my dad would pick the kfx700 over both (hes 48 and 2 hip replacements last year)
