Is anyone using a snowplow on a Prarie? Do you have to buy the one frow Kawasaki? Do others fit? What about a winch to lift it and for other uses (size etc.)? How well doe the manual lift work? Is it a man-killer at the end of a day of pushing snow? Just wondering if a guy could make a little money around town clearing sidewalks and driveways.

i've got a 00 prarie 300 4x4 with warn winch amd moose plow. it's a excellent setup, and although i've not gotten to move snow with it yet, it worked well on the mountains of leaves I had to move this fall. I do have a couple of suggestions, though
-use the electric lift warn makes, it is the best way to raise a plow blade. the winch works, but it only raises the blade about 6" or so, the aluminum clamp pressed on the cable to form a loop gets in the way
-if you do use a winch, go to the local hardware store and get a small d-ring and use this instead of the stock hook on the end of the winch cable, the small d-ring gives more clearance and prevents the hook from coming off the u-bolt on the blade
