A new set of Aftermarket Shocks will fix the bump steer alot as the Shocks will asorb the impact & handle the shock of the "Bump Steer" thru the Shocks instead of transmitting it directly to the rider as the Stock Shocks will do.
Not everyone can justified spending $1200 on a set of Shocks. You can just do the Front Aftermarket Shocks first, then later do the rear units, this will help keep the cost down. The "WORKS" shocks on my "Now" '07 750 have fixed the "Bump steer" not to 100% but very good results. I still get a bit of a tug now & then but nothing like it was before.
A steering stalbilizer would take out that "tug" on my refitted upgraded WORKS Suspended '07 750 Blue Thunder, w/o a doubt.
Where can I get a steering stablizer for my bf750. And that is a good suggestion to do the front shocks first. BTW, very nice looking brutes you have on your page. I really like the blue one.

A while back, some 11 months ago or so I was doing research on the Steering stabilzers. Then to top it off, "Dirt Wheels", March '06 Issue had a stabilzer mounted on their modified KQ700 with excellent results. I then just recieved the last upgrade to my WORKS Shocks by getting the Pre-load adjusters installed & that really took care of the Bump Steer allot, so I decided against the Stabilzer. Cost was in the $130 - $175 range, depending on the brand and how many adjustments the stabilzer offered & if the model was rebuildable.
I may go w/the Stabilzer now on my Blue Thunder Upgrade project. Already have the New Replacement Fat bars on, WORKS Shocks.
Not sure if I still have that Issue around, as lately I have not been keeping old Issues.
Guess I need to restart the search again on the Steering Stabilzers.
I just sent Dirtwheels a ? on the Steering Stabilzer part # they used on the KQ Project in the March Issue, since the part # wasn't provided in the test article. You would think that the Steering shaft on the KQ is the same size on the Brutes.
If I find anything out, I'll post a new Thread on it.
