It probably depends on the dealer, but I always took my Dynatek out and put the stocker back in when my Brute went into the shop for warranty work just to avoid any potential hassle...

Default Kawasaki Warranty?

And what part they may warranteeing (new word?).

Don't think it would effect suspension and the like, just the electrical.

But like 2TV said, a lot depends on the dealer.

Default Kawasaki Warranty?

I just had the moose ignition module and a jet kit put on my 05 bf750 and my extended 4 year warranty is still good. I had the dealer install it and aske before they did the work if the warranty would still be good, and they said yes, since they were doing it and since all the additions done to my bike was done by the dealer.

Default Kawasaki Warranty?

I just bought my second Kawi ( had an '04 700 with 12,000km at time of trade ) and the dealer recommended that I buy the DJ CDI. They said it was a plug and go mod that would give me lots of return for the dollar. I asked about warranty issues and they said that there would be none. It will be my next purchase for my 750.

It won't void the warranty if you don't tell the dealer about it. Just swap the stock cdi back in before taking it in for service.
