Default Help with jetting my KFX

Hi,Guys
I have been trying to get it dialed in with this dyno junk kit.The dealer I got it from Is insisting it will work.I Have it with the 130 front and 134 rear.Clip is in the first setting dropped down.It has been very cold hear so it is hard saying.I had to tape up all the holes and turn the dial a jet down to the leanest setting but I dont think it is going to run right like this.Like I said it is very hard to tell woth it this cold.I have talked with Kevin at 700V.com and he is saying a 178 front and a 180 rear and go from there.Leave the stock needles and throw out the dyno junk.I have to wait till monday and see if I cant get some ordered which is what I thought my dealer was doing before I paid 82 dollars for this dyno junk.Have any of you ever got a dyno junk kit to work? This dealer is a representative and is really persistant in getting it to work or he wants to know why it wont????I say I dont care why it wont work I just want it working.LOL Let me know what you guys think????

I would go with what Kevin says. I know a few people who used the dyno junk and couldn't get them to work. I run 175 and 180 and with no air box. The only thing I have to do when it gets cold is turn the pilots screws a half turn in. Like Atustevo says I would shim the needles. Maybe you could take those dyno junks back to the dealer and get your money back. LOL

if you think about it 1.5hp for 20$ is a VERY good deal. when you look at how much we are paying for our full exhuast systems were paying almost 100$ an HP the key is about 13$ per HP. thats what makes it worth it. I've never come across anyone with the dynojunks workign properly on a KFX yet.

P.S just go, if your running the muzzy like your sig says you are I'de bet your rear is a little lean. the muzzy has the same lenthed pipes meaning both jets would be the same.

Hi,I am not shure if you are asking me or not but I have the Dalton clutch kit with the orange blue spring and the over drive pully. It seems to pull very good on take off I will let you know about the top when I get this thing dialed in.I am getting closer but need the Keihn jets.I had it out several times today messing with the dial a jet and blocking off the holes and got it to do a little better.
