Like the old HD saying goes...."If I had to explain it ..... You wouldn't understand".
-I'm glad HARLEY DAVIDSON are over priced. Otherwise everyone would have one. (Its bad enuff all the jap bikes are copying Harleys styling ). I have more guys come up to me at stop lights on Hondas & Kawi's ....look at my Heritage Classic & say to me over the rumble "Wow. Thats what I really wanted".
P.S. Monty mines an EFI ! haahaa !!

...or you could save money and buy Kawi Z or a Suzuki Hayabusa type of bike and eat a HD's lunch on power and handling.
But then again I've never understood the whole HD thing despite having owned a couple myself. I'm defintely more of a bullet bike type of guy. Or was. I don't care to own either now. The days of 150+mph street bikes is long past for me.

yea, there are lotsa fast bikes, but where can a guy push 200mph on a bike? not anywhere around here. i have a friend that has over 120,000 miles on his harley, and there is one road king/side car that has 415,000 miles on it. when is the last time ya saw a 1913 Suzuki that still runs. i saw a harley that old in a parade not too long ago... to me that was way cooler than a turbo nitrous Hiabusa with the usual neon tribal graphics

I will sum up the efi thing for me.On the 650, If efi and carbs were the same price I would take the carbs. Only because of the way the 650 runs with the carb set up. I ride from 4000'- 10,000' all with stock from the factory jetting. I am sure not all carbed atvs run that way with (but that is there problem) If I had any other atv w/ carbs I would probably want efi. Efi probably works very well on some atvs. But I am not sure what it would do to the 650 brute other than add to the price.
