Default Driving Lights

Have 02 650 Kawasaki. Would like to add 2ea 55 watt driving lights. Will the electrical system handle these lights? Thinking to just get a $20 pair from Walmart. Really would like LED lights, but probally can't afford them .
Havent seen LED lights in stores.

Your 650 generates 25 amps x 14 volts @6000 rpm. That is 350 watts at engine's peak rpm. Let's do some math here:
Headlight: 45x2 = 90 watts.
Tail/brake lights: 5+21=26 watts
Any elec accesories you run while riding?
Adding another 110 (two 55 watts) would be no problem when the battery is fed by 350 watts of power, but what is the alternator output at idle rpm? You should use an amp meter to find it out to be safe. My guess is that it would generate around 12~14 amps @1000 rpm, then you can barely run the aux lights.

Thanks for the reply. May look into LED lights as they use less watts. Or may only run only one driving light.
