i know this has came up before but i looked for answers but couldnt find anything good can some one help me on how to reset the belt light thanks

 

i also need to know how to reset the belt light after the belts goes bye bye at 64 mph

 

Make sure you "check" the belt and its deflection before resetting the "check belt" light.

 

Under the gear shifter on the right side of the atv, there should be a black and grey connector ( there is another bigger one i balieve also). Find the black and grey connectors that fit each other and switch them(black to grey, grey to black). Then, under there also is a little 2 pin connector that goes to the engine brake, disconnect that. After all that, turn the ignition on for about 10 secs were you see the 4x4 light flash back and forth. THen, turn the key off and put everything back together.

 

It is important to note that '07 360 has a slightly different procedure.

DO NOT CONNECT THE GREY FEMALE TO THE BLK MALE CONNECTOR - leave them apart while doing this on '07 360.

Otherwise, previous method would not shut it off.
