I don't know anything about either one but, I have had my last straw with Warn and Superwinch. I am getting ready to buy a Ramsey 2500lb. A couple of fellas I ride with have had them on their 4 wheelers for several years and they use the same winch to pull me out of bad situations time and time again because my Warn constantly fails to do the job. They ride in the same creeks and mud I do and there winches never fail them. I am now sold on the Ramsey winch and if I were you I would look strongly into one.

Mud

Can't speak for the Gorilla, but I have had a Venom on my BF650 for about a year and it has been fine. I get it wet all the time and it still works great. I don't have anything to compare it to in the power department, but I normally use it to pull logs out of the way. It works for the most part but I often wish it were stronger. I have the 3000lbs version. I have had to use it to get me out of a tight spot once and was thankful it was there. Although at the time, I was wishing I had the remote for it.

The venom is a great, reliable winch. Ive had mine for over a year also. The only thing with a venom is a simple fix. Regrease it with a good quality synthetic grease, such as Amsoil. (the best) The grease that is in the winch to start, is cheap, and needs to be replaced right away. When thats done, its a very good winch

ramsey and warn are about the same. i have no idea about gorilla or venom. i havnt had a problem with either warn or ramsey, but none of the them are sealed except for warn's new 2.5xt and warns 3.0xt.

I have a venom 3000lbs on my 650SRA. Ive had it since august and have used it many times. The past few weeks Ive been using it a lot to plow, its been working great. I must raise and lower the plow 40-50 times each time I plow the driveway. It was well worth the money, plus its super easy to pull a part and service if need be.
