i just rebuilt my 02 lakota sport. I dropped the tranny in my motor so i just bought a used bottom end motor..When i put it all together i tried to take it for a ride and it doesnt want to shift. it will go in 1st gear pretty easily but when going to 2nd...or any of the higer gears you have to push in on the shat to get it to shift..When shifting down you actuallu have to get off the bike and push in on the shaft and push down...Can anyone help me?

 

The simplist thing to do would be trying to ajust the clutch bu talking off the small black cover on the clutch cover and loosing the nut and turing the screw all the way out till it gets hard then all the way in till it gets hard, then tighten the nut back up while holding the screw with a flat head. If that dosnt work then you probally have a messed up shift fork
