What size jets does a stock 02 P650 come with? And would you go up in numbers to go leaner or richer?

Don't know what they come with stock. It depends what temp and elevation it is set up for. The larger the number on the jet the richer it is. Remember that the colder the outside temp is the leaner it will be. The warmer the richer. Likewise the higher in elevation the richer and lower elevation the leaner. Now it is up to you to figure out the elevation and temp you will be riding it at.

02 P650 Jet Specs:
Main Fuel: #138 Front, #142 Rear
Main Air: #80
Needle Jet: #6
Pilot Fuel: #40
Pilot Air: #130

With Kehin, higher the number, richer it is. Same with Mikuni. Hope this helps.

I put snorkles on my wheeler, I think its runing lean. I lost top speed<only does 40mph>.and low end low end power. It pops at higher speeds, and runs real rough. Temp wise, I live in NE PA so in the winter it gets down to 0, this past week it went down to -6F. In the summer it gets as high as 100F. Elevation, I live at about 790 ft, I live in the Pocono Mt. range, so I can get up to 2000ft, I cant see getting any higher then 2500ft or lower then 50ft, although I might take it to the shore, which is at sea level. What is the difference between getting a jet kit, and replacing your main jets<I assume this is what you change for the above problem>? Should I get a couple different sizes of jets, higher and lower? What is a stage 1, 2, 3, jet kit. If your not satified with the proformance of the jet you installed, how much of a PIA will it be to install another size? Do you think a Dial a Jet is better?

Run your quad with the choke ON even when the engine is fully warmed up. If it runs better than with choke off, yes you have a lean carburetion problem. If not, you've got something else. Do this test first before you spend $$/time on jets.

I have 122 f/r stock jets, with my 650v2 snorkled, a k&n, and Dial-A-Jets, and the dial a jets are nice, as it takes you 5 minutes to rejet
