They finally have a price for it too, $7399. Seems like it priced about right. No word as to when it will be released.

Pretty slick.......

Nice that it comes with Renthals already on it, that's a nice touch that more factories should get into......

You guys only heard of this now, the kfx450r has been on the kawi site for months. I sat on it at a local bike show over a month ago. A couple of things I didn't like, the handle bars are way to low, the reverse lever is just above the throtle which is kinda awkward, and the seat is harder that a rock. Besides that its a pretty wicked machine. I was very impressed.

Speedi.

You are correct, the bike has been on the site for a long time, but the price has not been; that's new.

Kawasaki was supposed to have one in the bike show around me, but they pulled out at the last minute. Not sure what was going on, that was the only reason that I was going to go to the show.

Oh well, I guess I will have to visit my dealer when they get one in.

My kawi dealer says that they've already sold 5 of em site unseen. They're due to be delivered by the end of February. O, and ya your right, they didn't even know the price at the show either but I was talking to the dealer a couple of days ago and he said here in Canada they're going for $9999+tax(6%)+freight and pdi(about $250). So more like $10 850CND all said and done. Thats about $9 250USD. Man do we get screwed up here or what.

Speedi,

$9250 USD out the door, I wouldn't pay that much for one no matter how good it is. You could buy a LTR450, which also has fuel injection (that the reason I am using this quad for comparison) in the US for about $6600; use the extra $2650 and buy a heck of a lot of mods and have one sweet ride if you want to race. Or get the Raptor (which I just bought) for $6300 OTD and again use the extra $2600 for a heck of a lot of accessories.

Oh well, I am happy with getting my Raptor.

It's actually $7400. But I can pick up a brand new 05 450r off a local showroom for $4700 OTD and add some nice mods....
