Default Mods for a Prairie 300

Just looking for advice on some mods for my prairie 300.
Like where should i start - clutch kit, air filter, pipe, etc....
Not looking to spend a ton of money but would like a little more power if possible.

I just added A-arm guards, kawasaki camo cover, and a mile marker winch (in pics).

Thanks
jeff

Power is going to be tough on the 300. I bought a K&N Stage 1 kit and noticed a small gain. The Dyno jet kit did seem to give it a little more pep. My 300 has been a really good and dependable bike. It won't go as fast as alot of the bikes out there, but with the mods that I have done, it will go through more than most of my buddies bikes. The larger, heavier tires knocked off ~2 mph but I don't mind. The majority of my riding is done at 1/2 throttle or less. Let me know if you have any luck, or find that "magic" miracle mod. Good Luck

I don't know if this will help you or not but I modified the carberator in my 360 with excellant results for power gain. I did some experimenting on my wife 2002 300 prairie and I actually lost power with hers. Depending on how your bike pulls at low and mid range comparitivly than this might help or possibly not. My picture profile has a photo of the modification and if you want to try it pm me and I will walk you thru it. It's a very easy mod, (FREE) and it's reversible if it does not work.

Hope this helps,
Mud

The quad seems to do pretty well at low and mid-range speeds. I don't get on it much, maybe half throttle, because of where we mostly ride. Its a 2x4 so I was looking at something to help out in the mud mostly. I should probably look at getting some better tires first. I had kenda bear claws on my 94 sport 400l but they didnt seem to do all that well in the mud for some reason. Any suggestions?

I went w/ the ITP 589s, but they are pretty heavy. Maybe take a look at the ITP Mudlites, I have heard good things about them.
