650 V Twin, wouldn't it be nice if....?

Wouldn't it be nice if it would take 26" aftermarket tires with no adjustments to the suspension?
Or came standard with GoodYear Mud Runner tires?
If it had pre-load adjustments on the front springs for the carrying of fuel packs etc?
If it has the torque to turn 28" Outlaw tires without a felt reduction in performance?
If it has the reliability of Honda 450-S?
If it has the ride of a Sportsman 500? (It should be better than the Magnum because of the aluminum swing arm)
If it came standard with aluminum wheels? (For less unsprung weight)
If it has brakes that last so long that brake wear is a non issue?
If the front drive can be locked and unlocked while in 4wd,open or closed differential?
If the handling is as good as an Xplorer 400?
If it has something larger than a 14 amp hour battery?
If it came with a lifetime warranty on the transmission and all internal parts?
If the drivetrain came completely sealed and 100% waterproof?
If it idled like a vibration free Honda and sounded like a Harley?
If all the drains were easily accessable and bushings and bearings were permanently lubed and sealed?
If it had stainless steel racks that never scratched, rusted or cracked.
And ... it went at least 2MPH faster than any Rubicon or Sportsman HO.
You'd buy one wouldn't you?

Respectfully, it is still a pre-production model and all of the features have not been committed to yet.
What I am saying is that if it had all of the features I mentioned Honda, Polaris and Yamaha would have to go back to the drawing boards.
If it does indeed have all of these features and benefits there would be no reason to buy anything else.

Thor,
I think you came close to describing the perfect ATV. I hope Kawasaki can deliver on its new Prairie 650 model.
Here is the web site for the Prairie 650. WWW.prairie650.com

Also respectfully, according to the Kawasaki rep, the production model features alloy wheels, sealed liquid rear brake (incredible service life and efficiency), locking front differential (rider-controlled clutch-pack engagement at any speed), 606 # dry weight, swingarm with MX-style spring/shock w/reservoir, etc., etc.
Rather impressive quad, in my view. I agree with you: Vive le difference; vive le competition.
