Default brute 750 fan problem

I just went through a "my fan is not working" thing about 2 months ago. It turned out the bus connector located in the wiring harness above the gas tank was completely corroded and not getting power to the fan break switch located under the seat. I would say check to see if you are getting power there and if not then you need to repair the bus connector. Remove all the wires in the bus and solder them together as is appropriate.

yea the junk connector under the seat is a piece of junk. thats why they did away w/ it on the new ones. my friends overheater a few times on the trail until i bypassed it w/ direct power so the fan would run.

stendori,
Your best off repairing the problem wiring and not just doing a bypass. Eventually you're going to have a bunch of other things that arent going to work too.
