tim did you manage to get the starter to work yet?

 

actually i bought a used starter off ebay and it came in today so i put it in and wired a push button start to the solenoid and guess what ...IT STARTED!!! now i have to put the rest of it back together and hopefully after a day of doing that it will be ready to ride. while i had it down i removed the body to go thru the whole bike . thanks for all your help!!!!! tim

yep I just have to put the body back on but after i change the oil (filter comes in tomorrow morning) and make sure everything is all tightened what a nightmare..Ive had this tore down for over 2 months..In fact during the down time i bought a old manco 310cc 3 wheeler just so i could have something to start up and hear run but tomorrow ill have the bayou running again and again thanks for yout help tim
