the 650 is a straight axel,
the 650i is a IRS model.

the 650i also have bigger carbs and like 5 mores horses because of it. that is all i know.

They have HIGH & LOW and Switchable 4x4.

Just a side note. For $5300.00 you can buy a brand new one if you shop around. As in BRAND NEW from the dealer with a full warranty.

Yeah.. For that kind of money, you would be better off buying a new one. I personally would never buy a used quad unless it was practically free. It might look clean when you see it, but there is no telling what the quad has been thru and how many if any "temporary" fixes have been applied only to break shortly after you buy it.

Also depends on application of quad. If you use quad for pulling farm equipment i.e plows for food plots, get the straight axle. Works better & does not just squat and spin the tires.

The 650i has about 5 more horsepower than the straight Axle due to higher compression engine & CDI and is smoother ridiing than the SRABrute.

With better shocks and tires on each 650 the SRA would outhandle the 650I on the trails, but have a harsher ride.
