Default Lakota troubles

OK here is what is happening as described my my daughter. and this only happens when the bike is been ran for long time.......
She says it will cut out or lose power in 4th and 5th only. Does not do in in first through third gears.
When this happens she said she tries to give it more gas and it acts like it wants to die, but does not die.
Starts right up, seems to run fine everytime I ride it.
Battery is weak after sitting for few days, could this be the problem?
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Good carb/air filter cleaning time I would think. I mean clean the carb good by taking it off and apart, not the "sqirtty of carb cleaner here and there".

It appears it was the battery.......had it out all day Saturday at St. Joe and it ran fine. Make sense, low RPM's lugging along in 4th and 5th.
Air filter was dirty as well.
Daughter is happy now!
Thanks for the help!
