Default bayou 220 stalling

bayou 220 cranks fine when cold but as soon as it warms up it starts to sputter and dies. Won't crank again till it sits for a few hours. I rebuilt carb but didn't help. Any suggestions?

got it to crank but the rectifier gets so hot you can't touch it in about 3mins. Is this normal.
