First of all, you need a primary clutch puller. You can replace the belt without one, but I.M.H.O it's kind of stupid, you could hurt yourself, and you could prematurely stretch the belt. Then it's just a matter of removing the primary, belt, taking off the secondary. Now you need to fabricate, or buy something to compress the spring so you can remove the ring clip and take the sheaves apart. It's really not that involved, but you need the proper tools. Heres a link to a guy that took photos of the process. I would STRONGLY suggest you buy a service manual if you plan on servicing your brute yourself!
