Default Teryx 750

I went into a Kawi dealer today and asked a few questions about the new Kawi Teryx 750. They looked at me like I was ignorant. I told them I saw the report put out on the 12th about the new machine and they didn't have a clue. Until he pulled it up on the web he had never heard anything about it before I told him.
So does anyone know of when they will actually be available and a possible starting price? Why the heck wouldn't they have put EFI like the BF 750i? Seems like a logical thing to do considering they already have the set up for the quad.

It is my impression that Kawi is waiting for the weekend modding crew to get some seat time on this SxS. Since it looks very close to the Rhino I wonder if most the aftermarket parts will interchange? Since it takes a lot for the Rhino to get any horsepower (equal moneys spent) the Tyrex will give a lot more back. Can you imagine almost 100hp off the crank on this SxS.

It has me excited.

Now since Kawi has the EFI on the BF how hard will it be to exchange the carbs to EFI.

Kawai's known to do this to their dealers. They'll release a brand new machine and won't tell them it's coming out until what happens to you happens. The lowdown is it's still carb for some dumb reason and I suppose you could swap it to EFI but just transfering everything over, but I'm sure it'd be a big hassle. If I remember right, their order dates aren't going to be till probably fall 08 since Kawai dealers can order about twice a year and if I remember it was n't on their spring order, but things change. And I don't know any price, probably be close to a Rhino.

I read that it will be fuel injected by then. Maybe they will skip the 2008 model and make it a 2009 750 EFI.

I live aruond Louisville, KY and we have them. Not sure on the price. Kawi is waiting to get the kinks out of the fuel injection system until they put it on the Teryx 750.
