Default Mojave Clutch question

I noticed that my clutch cable does not have much more "take up". Does the ctuch disc wear out? Is it easily replaceable? What other pieces/parts should I replace at the same time?
It will lurch forward just a bit when I put it in gear when its cold, but don't notice it when its warmed up.

i just did mine...helps alot believe me...mine was worn to $hit and my quads only a 2003...your gonna probably just want to do everything over since it will all be apart...friction plates, drive plates, springs and any gaskets to complete the task...maybe even the cable itself...i havent seen it so i really couldnt tell u...that could be your only problem why it feels the way it does...but for the year of the quad its just worth it to do everything over...also make sure u buy new oil to and break her in nice and easy...

The discs do wear out. It is easier if you have a service manual. You'll need the frictions, maybe steels (check them for warping, or blueing (heat)) and springs for sure. Also like V said, a clutch cover gasket.
