Who would win: Stock kfx450r on 22" 10 paddle extreme hauler ultra buffs VS. my kfx400 with the mods in my signature with 7 paddle 22" regular haulers. What you think?

I'n all honesty, he is a better driver than me. I have not had much practice sand drag racing. He was just talking some real smack about how fast a kfx450 is and that there is no way a 400 will beat it.....

If he's completely stock then I'd say you've got a good chance. If he's got a pipe fuel and ignition programmer then I don't know. Run'em then swap tires and run'em again. That way you'll know if it's the bike or tires, he's got better tires for racing.

well we raced. it was a slaughter. from what the onlookers said it was about 8-10 bikes. I looked back and he was way back there. I asked if he launched correctly and he did. He said he never thought a 400 could run like that. I tried to give him another chance and he said it was no point. I was worried though. They way those bikes rev is unreal. It revs like a 750 street bike. the throttle response is awsome. I figured if it ran like it reved, i was toast.

hahaha good stuff. I get ppl all the time come up to me and ask how many ccs my bike is...450,500?. One dude on a banshee was watching me climb hills and he figured i'd blow him away. He asked me to race and i said ok just for the hell of it. He had trinity shortys jetted and all that crap. he was about 8 bikes ahead of me when i hit the rev limiter lol. He said he really thought i was going to beat him, its probably the sound of the exhaust that makes it look like im going faster, his sounds like my friggin weed wacker.

I would bet money on you...

Stock the kfx is not that fast in a drag race.

My Z smoked my kfx when it was stock.

It was a sweet victory, after all that smack he was talkin. He did outrun me on his drag bike tho. Not by much, maybe 2-3 bikes. He has an ltr450 that is big bored/stroked to 498cc. 6" swinger, the biggest cams web cams has, drag pipe, fender cut off, no rear brakes, 14.5 to 1 compression, ported head, programmable fuel injection. I'm gonna hand it to him next time we run, I changing cams, and tweaking a few other things. He is maxed out pretty much and I'm not. I have just begun.
