Default Put my Twin Peaks 800 on the Dyno today

Well, I did it. I finally put my quad on the dyno today and tuned the carbs... After a few dyno runs, I rejeted it and did more dyno runs to confirm it was jetted right. Believe it or not, the Superflow SF790 chassis dyno that I put my quad on reported that my Twin Peaks 800 made a maximum of 72.7 HP and 53.6 lbs of TQ at the rear wheels. Needless to say, those numbers were way above my expectations (I was hoping for at least 50 rwhp).

After I put my quad on the dyno and rejetted the carbs, I did a quick run down the highway in front of this shop (slightly downhill) and my speedo said 79 mph! :woot I was very happy with that...that is my fastest run ever. I can tell the motor runs better now that I rejetted it on the Dyno. I'm very happy with how it runs now. I'm sure my quad is not the fastest ute quad in Texas, but it is a fast as I can make it and I'm happy with that.

You can see a pic of the dyno sheet here...

If anyone is looking for an ATV dyno near the northwest houston area, I recommend this place...its called Industry Dyno and located near Industry, TX (T.C. Pistole is the owner)...phone number is 979-357-4671.

Happy trails...
