Default Rad fan functioning?

Just wonderning if anybody knows a way to test that my rad fan is functioning on my 04 P700. I remember it always kicking on, even in the winter sometimes, but I dont recall it running the last few times I have been out. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

I would install a temp gauge in the coolant line coming out of the block. My BF650 runs about 195 to 210 and sometimes it will turn on to drop the higher temp. Most times the fast forward motion of the quad is enough to keep the coolant in range without the fan coming on.
