Default prairie 650 problem

I was out riding my wifes 2002 prairie 650 this weekend and had some problems in low gear. There was no problem when I was giving it gas, but when I took my thunb off the throttle and the quad slowed it made a sound similar to a j-brake on a semi. I ended up doing all my slow riding 20 mph or less in high gear with no problems and no wierd sound. Any help would be appreciated.

My guess is that your shift linkage needs adjustment. Also check your motor mounts, I hear they go loose. Go to Www.nyrocatv.com and under the tech tips sections youll find out how to do a shift linkage adjustment. I hear it is a easly fix.
