I perffer the Cobra myself. it give the best power increase out of all the pipes for a Mojave and is alot cheaper than most. But, if you want either the Gun or the IDS-2, I would go with the Gun.

Big Gun I have heard makes more power but the IDS 2 is alot qieter. Now the Cobra is the loudest. I think for the most part, 4 stroke exhausts are minimal in the seat of the pant feel compared to two strokes.

I find it hard to believe that it makes 6 more horses. Is that printed on a ad somewhere? A little off the subject here, I bought a suppertrap pipe form rocky moutain atv last year and they sent me a dg pipe. The disc were in another pkg. that said suppertrap on it. Are supper. and dg one in the same?

No, DG and Supertrapp are not the same. I hope you didn't keep the exhaust!!! Depending on what pipe you payed for, you might have gotten completely ripped off. how does your bike run? And yes, Biggun quotes, on their Web site, a 5.8hp increase.

Supertrapp 4-inch racing pipe is by far the best.Bottom and midrange plus with the jet kit it is awesome(When you put a new pipe on your quad you should get the jet kit with it) Why would the Kawasaki team use Super-trapp otherwise.

kevdog i kept the pipe. It is a dg with suppertrap disc. I have a 99 Lakota with cam,jet kit, filter. I bought a gps sat. and it showed 58.6 mph with stock gearing. It would pull a higher front sprocket. The exhaust came with a larger head pipe, 4 inch alum. muffler and a pkg. of suppertrap disc. So is this dg muffler crap? Thanks for the info. Wish somebody would build a 10-1 piston for the 290cc engine....

i'm not saying the dg is crap, but the supertrapp is better. especially if you tried to order the ids/ids-2. i doubt that they are going to do anything now, but i would call them and let them know that they screwed up royally. good luck!!

The only reason Team Green used Supertrapps is because they sponsered the team. The Cobra may be on the loud side, but it produces more power- top-bottom- than any other pipe for the Mojave.
