I have a 06 v and I've been told that a 2 into 1 Muzzy makes good h.p. Also the dual HMF system works good as well. The Muzzy is said to gain the most on the bottom end to mid-range where as the dual HMF's are said to gain most on the mid-range to top end. I have not decided between the two yet. Remember to jet up and the 12 hole airbox mod with a K&N or Twin air filter will really wake up the big V twin. Oh and you cant go wrong with a yoshi exhaust system either! A Dalton "blue" or EPI "pink" spring for the clutch will stir the big bike up as well and you can get them off the net for around 20-25 dollars. The complete clutch kit is more but alot of people just do the spring mod first along with the exhaust and jetting up. Hope this helps!

Twin air makes the aftermarket filters just like K&N. Once you put the exhaust on and jet up there is a mod called the 12 hole airbox mod that consists of drilling 12 -1" holes in the airbox. There are pictures of this mod on kfx700.net. K&N or Twin air are both good filters and you cant go wrong with either. Also when the 12 hole airbox mod is done yo need to block the main air duct into the airbox off because it will create turbulance in your airbox. The air will get to your airbox by way of the 12 holes once this mod is done! Hope this clears up any questions.

Have a 04 Force that I gave to my son and I ride a 750 Brute. These mods will help but I would save your money.Even with these mods you will be looking at the taillights
of the sport quads.I did the clutch kit-complete and it helped a little.Ride it the way it is-good low end -bad midrange-O.K. top end.Good trail machine but no rocket but will be alot of fun.

Check out kfx700.net and you can read about the mods on there. I havent done any of the mods to mine yet so I cant give you any evaluations on how good they work, but from what they say over there is that they help pretty good but like Force said , it is never going to be a pure sport quad but they are an excellent trail machine , sort of a jack of all trades but a master of none if you get my drift But seriously, check out that web sight and let me know what you think!

yeah i agree with u on that one. it has the most torque then anything else i have ever ridin. which also make it hard to race because its hard to keep the front end down.
