The rear of the swingarm you'll see 2 bolts,(where the axle goes though) loosen these (make sure there loose) then the carrier is free to rotate. at the bottom of the carrier is a hole cast into it which you can insert a screw driver or whatever for added leverage. The carrier is oval shaped on the outside and rotating it increases / decreases the distance from the engine thus tightening / loosening the chain. Hope this will help you.... P.S. I feel that it is a little ezer if you take the rear caliper off just the 2 bolts holding it on then just push it up so you can get to the other swingarm bolt a little ezer. O and the lakota chain slack is 40-50mm or 1.57-1.97in from top middle

loosen the NUTS on the bottom. then loosen the BOLTS from the top.
then it will loosen up for you to turn it.
the bottom of the swingarm is thread, as well as having a nut on it.
also, run the chain a bit tighter than normal. the lakota chain gets LOOSER as the suspension collapses. exactly opposite of other machines.
set it, then sit on the seat, it will be looser than u just set it.....
