KFX700 top speed

My boddy has one and I was with him when he did it. Anyways he said he was about 70 when he back off because it started to get a little harry for him. He said he had a little more left yet before he gave up so about 75 sounds about right. PS that day was a little windy too.

I agree, mosy guys complain that the cvt runs out of shiftout before the V-twin runs out of power!!

Metal's ran 93 MPH with 30 inch (I believe) tall tires. The funny thing is, it ran almost the same MPH with 22 inch tires.

Big tires create big weight which makes them harder to spin thus making the engine not have enough power to spin them fast enough to make the quad faster than it was with the 22's.
