suggestions for new exhaust for 2008 750 bf
#1
need feedback on an exhaust 08 750 bf. see alot of hmf pipes out there. but don't know which model would be best. should i go slip on or full exhaust? just put on 27" triclaws on and just want to get my of the "zip" back. i assume i won't need to rejet cause of the fuel injection. thanks! ps do most riding in s. ga. mud.

I cant help on the exaust question but I got a brute force 750 08 last year and iam looking for some wheels and tires. WHere did you get yours? How big can I go with stock height without scrubbing? did you go with a 14'' wheel or a 12'' wheel? I want to go with probably around a 26'' I dont wont to loose much power if possible.
Sorry for all the questions but I figured you already did the research. Do you ever go to Durhamtown?

I reccomend HMF (utility, or swamp series), Big Gun full system, or Muzzy full system....You will also need a fuel controller (Dynojet) to compensate the fuel mixture for the pipe since its fuel injection

put the tires on my stock (12") rims. no rubbing at all. was told the brute could take up to a 29.5 tire with no lift kit, no problem. went with 27" cause that's all the mud machine makes. still pretty quick but lost about 10mph top end, (60 is still fast enough!). only been to rocky creek near macon, ga so far. really enjoyed it there.

wondering what would happen if i was to put on the exhaust without dynojet.......
would it improve any, or just make it louder?
i thought the brute's chip would take care of any adjustments it needs.
if needed, is dynojet the best or say get hmf chip to match their exhaust?
thanks for the reply!

it wouldnt improve any at all, it might actually make you lose power. An aftermarket exhuast will make it run leaner....Thats why you need a fuel controller. Dynojet is definately the best fuel controller.

1 more question..... when i plug it in, will i need to adjust anything or does it do it by itself?

There are different maps that you can put on it with the use of a computer.....It all depends on what all you have done. You can usually find descent deals on ebay, rocky mountain. You may try your dealer as well.
