I beat an outlander 800 twice w/ my Brute 750 stock, I was only about 5 bike lengths (or so) ahead of it and my wife and a buddy were right w/me on their Prairie 700`s, and a Suzuki twin peaks wa close also the Grizzly 700 was back about 20 bike lengths or more, this was about a mile and a 1/2 race on flat sand, interesting to note the grizzleys speedo topped out at 64 the Brute, prairies and Outlander all said 63/64 MPH, I have only raced one Grizzly 700 and one outlander 800, this is at sea level so I guess altitude could make things different? i will however put my Brute Force up against any quad that wants to run it, I will only race in safe conditions such as at Florence, or Coos Bay where the sand is flat and wide open, i will however be running a Dynatek CDI on my bike now so it won`t be as close of a race as it was before, also yes the Dynatec is a CDI, and the moose is a module That plugs in between the CDI and its connectors (no splicing) , They are both easy to install and uninstall (less than 2 mins ea.) and both are plug and play meaning no cut wires. I don`t like how you have to kind of make the moose module fit, it does however make your bike way quicker off the line for sure, I do like that the Dynatec fits where (and replaces your stock CDI)it is a much better installation and the power curve is really way better than stock. also both fit the Twin Peaks Suzuki and some other bikes as well i believe but check with mfg. as it is an awesome upgrade.

where do you guys ride that you can even get that fast?
I live in Massachusetts...aside from a few old logging roads and illegal paved road riding I would never see the need for going over 50.. most of my 'fast' trail riding is around 20-25mph. There are far too many rocks, ruts and twisty turning trails in Western Ma to sustain a speed of over 25mph for a long time...unless you have a death wish.
50 is the highest I've got my grizz up to so far, and that was on an open straightaway, but I had to slam on the breaks for the upcoming turn.
I think I average 7-8mph according to my hours vs miles.

First off let me say to Roofer, i`m not crazy, not even close to it, and second of all,we bought our quads to enjoy , trail ride and dune ride, not to race, the races I have spoken about are actual and I do not go looking for races, these just happened during a trip to the beach on a long flat stretch of area when we all hooked up and got with it, i will not comment on this subject again, as these quads are way faster than they really need to be.
