Default Prairie 650 vs Brute Force 650 differences

Hello,

I used to own a 2003 Kawasaki Prairie 650 and had to sell it for personal reasons. Now I'm ready to purchase another machine and would like a little information (personal experiences) on the 2008 Brute Force 650.

Baiscally, are there any differences between the two machines besides the plastic? I like the strait axle compared to the IRS, or I would have gone with the 750 Brute Force.

Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Pete

Plastics and instrument panel is the only real differance between the two. The spec sheets for both look near Identical.

What do you mean by molded plastic? Are you talking about the camo?

most quads come with your typical molded plastic....i bought the silver special additon and it was painted, had it about a year then a pressure washer took the paint off...bought the same plastic and the first time i washed it it happened again...the blue and the silver is painted..stay away, the camo, black, red and green should be molded...same color all the way through, the blue and silver are just that on top but black on bottom,,,,

I AM CURRENTLY ASKIN PEOPLE ON ATV CONN IF THEY KNOW OF SOME TYPE OF A SEALANT YOU CAN PUT ON TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING CAUSE IM PICKIN UP A NEW FRONT TODAY, ITS FINE AS LONG AS U DONT PRESSURE WASH IT......SOAK DOWN WITH SIMPLE GREEN AND US A WATER HOSE SHOULD BE FINE, IT USUALLY STARTS AROUND THE UNDER LIP OF THE FENDER...STAY AWAY FROM THAT AREA WITH HIGH PRESSURE

Basically, the two machines are the same apart from the exterior?

I noticed my local dealer starter selling the BF and it got me wondering what the difference was.
