I own a 98 lakota. I would want to know where in the web can i buy mods for my quead so that it will get faster. I would also like to know what would be the best mods i can use without spending a fortune. I have already removed the front and rear racks.

keflokota- I have a 1999 Lakota with the following mods.Suppertrap muffler,k&n filter, jet kit, rear grab bar. I ordered these from Rocky Mountain ATV. The parts ran about 300 dollars. The suppertrap came with a new head pipe that is quite abit larger than stock. This made a big improvement, but i still wanted more.I sent my cam to web cam and had it redone. They charged about 75.00 dollars. Lost some bottom end but picked up a whole lot middle to top. I have been looking without succes for a 10-1 piston. I think the stock comp. is 8.6-1. A pairrie 300 has a comp. of 9.2 to 1. I am going to find out if i can use a pairrie piston and mill the head also. I like what i have done so far. The machine will do 60 mph with stock gearing. This speed was with a gps at 850 elevation. Hope this helps.
