bayou carb question
#1
I recently put a jardine exhaust system on my 90 220 bayou. After i installed it the atv became kind of sluggish...the site i bought it from said i may have to change the jetting. I;m not sure what to do from that point on...I do kno that the jet can go bigger or smaller, but i'm not sure which way to go......also i'd like to make this atv more repsonsive throughout the powerband...what would you recommend..looking for opinions here...thanks any help would be appreciated....Kevin

you can do this a couple ways..
the fastest way is to enrichen your fuel mixture 1/4 to 1/2 a turn - might not do anything
the "easiest" is to buy a dynonet kit, and work from there. this will have a new needle, which is "all the MONEY" in the kit. Buy a UNI air filter, not KN
the next is to pull the carb and see what size the main is, and then go bigger
or, find out the main jet size and go larger...
here's what *I* would do, if i was baing frugal about it. -enrichen the mixture.. did that clear the problem?
go to dynojet's web page, read the range of jets that they offer for that bike, buy the second smallest and second largest, and get a UNI air filter kit
