I have a lot of experience with different types of carbs. But this one on a mojave im working on is somehtin i havent seen before. You have the butterfly throttle and then in the rear of the carb there is a snowmobile slide looking thing. What is the point of this thing in the back of the carb. It doesnt move when i plahy with the throttle. But i can move it with my finger.

 

This carbarator is a diaphram type carb and works by vacuume from the motor not the best set up but not a lot of moving parts easy to rebuild.
