should mojave smoke when cold

my mojave smokes when you first start it up and just when you gas it some. not at an idle or just in bout lil over half throttle but when it warms up it stops. normal?

The one I use to ride was a smoker too. Its my friends quad now. I ride an 86 TRX250R and we smoke up camp pretty good in the mornings.

your rides are fine they are just showing their age. Once you get them warmed up the rings swell and seal. Its no more than that. If the smoking doesn't stop after warm up then you should check your rings and valve.
