I have a 02 prairie 650. When I turn the key off there is a pretty bad rattle that is coming from the ebc on top of the belt cover. I know that the belt is a little to tight could this be why the ebc unit is making this rattle noise when key is turned off ?? or is the ebc going to hell??? Any info would be great!! Thanks!

 

Remove ebc motor from the cvt cover. Turn key on and off and see if the noise can be duplicated.
