Default Brand new battery wont hold charge. kfx400 help

hey i just bought a brand new battery about 3 months ago worked fine and rode it enough to charge perfectly never had a problem accept the other day i started it and then the next day it was dead, today i just jumped it to start it and it started ran about 20min then turned it off and it was completely dead, i know its the battery because if i jump it it will start... any suggestions? thanks

You need to give more info:
What brand/capacity battery?
What type of battery, AGM, Gell or Conventional/flooded?
Who and how was the initial charging done after adding electrolyte?
How has it been maintained, like on a trigger charger?
Some batteries lose their charge about 1% a day.

does the battery got really warm after you ride? if your machine is overcharging it can drain the electrolyte real quick. or maybe the machine isnt charging enough
