I need help with a 1986 Kawasaki Bayou KFL300

Okay, so i have a 1986 kawasaki Bayou KFL300 it was running great up until a few weeks ago when i think i melted/chipped a gear inside the crankcase and it just grinds when i try to accelerate. I need to split the motor apart but i need some special tools. I need a kawasaki flywheel puller part # 57001-1099 and i also need the special socket wrench for taking the weird crankshaft nut off. I have looked everywhere online for these and have not been able to find them. If anyone knows how to make these or where i could get them i would highly appreciate it. Feel free to email me.

I've been looking for a service manual for a bayou 185 and after reading your your dificulty in finding tools I do remember that rockymountainatv.com has specialty tools. I don't know if there going to bend you over but check them out I think they might be what your looking for.

I have removed the flywheel cover and the local dealer here has pulled the flywheel for free. Might be worth asking. If You are buying parts there They should be willing to help. Just a thought.

I was replacing the stator. I work on 4 wheelers in my spare time. I have had the dealer pull the flywheel on a few bikes. Hope your local dealer will be as helpful to you rogmar13. Merry Christmas to all.
Sisc1957 Check out the Dennis Stubblefield online catalog. It has lots of flywheel pullers listed with pictures. Not sure which one you need. Its www.dssales.net
www.denniskirk.com also sells them. Hope this helps.
