New Bruteforce Advice 2007 vs 2008
#1
I have found a dealer not too far away from me that has a leftover 2007 Bruteforce 750 that he will let go for $6,000 or I can buy a brand new 2008 for $7,000. Both will also come with the $69 Warn winch. Is the fuel injection worth an extra grand. Also, what other differences are there between the 2007 and 2008. I thought I heard the 2008 had a lower center of gravity. If anyone has ridden both model years, I would like a comparison. Any input would be appreciated.

compared to the price of atv's on the island where i live these are very good prices. one dealer in the area has a 2006 750 left over and is asking $7,800. a new one runs about $10,000 or more.
A F.I. will get you better mileage than the carb and will also give you better response, not to mention it way easier to start when its cold.
other than that, i wouldn't be able to compare the two for handling, try looking for some reviews online

difference between 07 and 08
Suspension settings, new seat urethane, increased sealed storage, new bumper design, polished wheels, lighter aluminum footpegs, stronger axle boots and dual-rate springs for front and rear suspension AND fuel injection... which is worth the diffrence itself

i believe they changed the plastics too. my buddy has a 2008 750FI and he has the fenders all broke up on it already. the damage is from a rollover, a stump, and a small cut down tree which got scooped up into the fender.
the older bikes on the other hand (my 2006 650) have excellent plastics. they have survived a rollover and a skidoo landing at -10C, where a skidoo jumped a snow drift and landed on the front rack, it buckled the rack down into the fender and turned it inside out. we hauled the rack out of the fender and it popped back to its original position (i know it sounds far-fetched but its a true story)
