kind of odd to say..
on the cam, you line up the tick mark that says
KL250
KZ250V
LF300
with "top" on the head and then
on the crank case..
remove cap
align the heavy mark UNDER the T with the notch in the "well' where the plug came out.
then tighten the tensioner...
then adjust the valves
