The noise you here is normal.

Get a copy of the manual

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.mudinmyblood.net/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=3
">http://www.mudinmyblood.net/fo...hp?do=file&id=3
</a>

and it will show you how to properly diagnose your flashing problem (test first, replace as required).

But the codes (from 4wd flash to 4wd flash)

1 second - 2wd/4wd actuator

2 second - Engine brake

4 second - both

So it is the 1 sec interval flash and i tried the fuse thing clean and make sure it has contact and still a flashing light. It does not flash all the time. I can turn to quad on at first and it is ok then once I put it into 4wd it does not go back to 2wd and then it starts to flash. Then I can turn the quad off and it will not flash and display 2wd right away but does start to flash after awhile.

I took the actuator off to see if it moved in and out and it does not move. Does this mean the actuator is bad. I hope not I called my local dealer and the price of a new on is $317

Thanks for all the help so far.

How is the light flashing? Time the flash from 4WD to 4WD and post the results.

KEBC actuator is only $220.00 ish CDN (jsut purchased one), so I think the dealer is wrong.

You can also disconnect it if you don't like it.

Here someone who knows how or can get you the information:

Easiest thing to do is to just remove the KEBC fork. The actuator still works, it just have nothing to do.

To totally remove the actuator itself you have to take out the ECM into thinking it's still there and all ok. This can be done using a DG-6 module or there's another method where you splice in some electrical stuff.

From 4wd to 4wd the flash timed is 1 sec.

The KEBC is the Engine Brake right? That is what you purchased for $220.

If the actuator is not moving then my quad is not going in/out of 4wd would it be? I would think disconnecting it would not be an option due to that reason?

I tried the mudinmyblood site and you need to be a paying member to download the manual.

It's only $8.00 and worth every penny.

But I think if you join and post 30 times or so, you can then. It's just prtecting the site from having people take and not give back.

Here is the link for the KEBC

But if you have 1 sec from 4wd to 4wd, sounds like you might have a 2WD/4Wd actuator problem.
