Default Kawasaki Mojave

Hey guys, I am kind of new to this. My friend has talked me into trying to buy a Kawasaki Mojave. I have a dirt bike now but this will be my first quad. I mainly ride trails but occasionally ride track. So my question to you is, would you reccomend the Kawasaki Mojave. If so also are there any "must need" aftermarket parts.

Thanks
Ant

The Kawasaki Mojave is a GREAT atv. My friend has one. They are fast, powerful, and have good suspension. What year Mojave are you looking at buying? I suggest trying to find a 2002 or 2003, just because those are the last Mojaves made. The only really nessecary part you may need is a rear skidplate. I recommend the one from Armadillos. It is a quarter inch thick and takes quite a beating. I also recommend new tires, obviously, but first I would buy the skidplate to keep your chain from being knocked off and to protect the chain, chain sprocket, and brake. Other than that, a front bumper is always nice to have on the trails.

Ok. Thank you. I do want to get the newer Kawasaki because one I like the green Kawasaki plastics but two its just newer. This really helps.

Thanks

Ok thanks. I am hopefully looking at one tommorow... we will have to see if my dad approves. Do you reccommend any aftermarket parts to improve such as the tires or exhaust.

Thanks

The stock exhaust seems to be fine for the Mojave. I do however suggest upgrading the tires. What type of terrain will you be riding on? Once we know this information, we can then decide on which tires will best suit your riding style.

Thanks... I ride a lot more trails than tracks but I would like tires that would be suitable for both.

Thanks
