My son has an 05 bayou 250, he needs new rear tires and wants to up-size.... there are 22X10-10 on it now..... what size would I look for and keep the same stock rim, he wants to go wider and taller with the new tires. Any sugestions????

 

Depends on his clearances he has to spare. Usually any rubbing is caused by going wider not taller.

To be safe 24x10-10 would fit trouble free on a Bayou. Maybe even 25s .

 

You might want to watch how wide you go and how big the tread will be. A friend of mine went two inches wider and the tread was about a half an inch taller. His machine lacks the low end power to keep those wheels turning when it counts. Looking back he wishes he went taller with smaller tread.
