Do you guys stop and help other riders? PSA warning

I am just reminding us, and posting in the kawa forum -because that's what i ride most of the time-, to take the time to stop, on the trail, and ask the other fellas and ladies if they need any help.
In the last month, I've pulled several folks out of bad spots, BEEN pulled out once, and handed out uncountable numbers of water/soda/beers, depending on circumstances.
I would just like to remind everyone to stop of just a minute, and ask, seriously, if you can offer any aid, whatsoever. Carry a toolkit, carry some water, carry some rope, but MOSTLY carry a good attitude... Its amazing how much you can add to someone else's fun by offering to help them out.

As has been said, "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I've yanked out a few people and even towed a guy down a hill after a piece of wood kicked up and under his quad and took out his throttle cable. I'm going up tomorrow to help with a trail cleanup. These kinds of things always puts a better face on ATVers.

I spent about 200 bucks last weekend helping with trailwork .. we needed a BUNCH of clay/sand mix delivered and spread to repair a natural boggy bit that was causing an entire trail to be blocked off to 99% of riders.. and damaging a couple people's property .. so I talked to the owners, had the dumptrucks roll, and spread dirt.
and, yes, sidewinder, i MOST CERTAINLY handed out beer, water, and soda to those that wanted them.. that's what i meant by "depending on circumstances" .. You know, with JUDGEMENT applied. One should never drink and drive.. and in texas, its DWI, still!

Great reminder, I have been helped, and have helped others a few times while out on the trails.. Altho 90% of my riding is on gravel roads and private land so we rarely ever see another atver not in our group. But on the occasional trips to the trails you bet, hell its a great way to meet new people and make connections to other possible riding destinations.
Last year we went to a local trail system ran across a guy and he had broke an axle, none of his group had a quad big enough to tow his back, so we towed him back about 3 miles to the parking area. Got to talking and he owned some land up near our neck of the woods and invited us out to ride, have yet to have opportunity to take him up on the offer but plan to soon.

On the other subject we can just agree to disagree.
