The "REV BOX" will do nothing for a KFX700. A CDI will do little for a stock internals KFX except in most cases raise your rev limiter.

The "REV BOX" was made for the Brute due to the timing being retarded from the factory. The KFX has more ignition timing than the Butes.

well i installed the red spring and i like it,easy to do too. only problem a guy made me a good offer on the quad, sooo if itsells i hate to say it but what would a 700 raptor be like compared to the kfx?? im not really excited to sell the kf,but money talks. i have found several raptors around the same price as the offer,so any input would be great, thanks.

I own one of each. Stock for stock, the Raptor700 will out perform the KFX700.

With that said, for the difference in price between the two, you can make changes to the KFX that will bring it up to par with the Raptor in some areas of performance.

It depends on what you do with it and where you like to ride it. If you are a woods rider, I tend to lean more towards the KFX. It has lots of low end power, the auto trany is an advantage, not a disadvantage. The extra ground clearance can mean the difference between gettting stuck and not getting stuck.

They are both great quads. I have always said that if I didn't have my KFX and love it so much, I would be riding a Raptor 700.

well the offer came through,he just took the kfx home.i sold it for 3k firm. now im on the hunt for a rappy700++. i really want a fast machine, something to compete w/ a banshee, and a quadracer 250. i have a brute750 for the woods and work,so i need speed. the real deal is i bought the kfx,and a 04 400ex for 3800,and sold the 400 for 2200.so im ahead, and shopping for speed, lol. or i would consider a built 700 kfx. i really liked the kfx,but cash is king, thanks for the ideas!

You will have to put money into either one to make them fast.
