Default Kfx400 problem help

I have an 06 Kfx400 it will not keep any type of idle it keeps kill itself the only way it runs if you rock the quad back and forth with the choke on and start it while doing this. After about 20 seconds it will just shut off. If you try to start it with no choke it wont turn over. Any ideas thanks!!!!

Let me see if I understand this.......

Your machine will not idle unless you put the choke ON, and rock the quad back and forth?

Have you tried to turn the choke OFF and wiggle your toes while clapping your one hand on your head and rubbing your belly in a circular motion?

OK I kid but that is seriously odd.... I've heard a lot of z400 problems but that one is new. It could be anything from a carb problem to a vacuum leak, or an electrical short... The fact that rocking the quad has some effect on the idle tells me that maybe something is loose, or broken.

Maybe there is debris in the fuel system somewhere that is moving when you rock the quad. Maybe there is a vacuum leak or intake leak......maybe it is the choke cable..... I think you need to do some more testing....
