Are you still having a problem?
What part of timing setting or what page on the manual are you having a problem?
More specific your question is, it is more likely that your will get an answer.

The problem that I have is the manual tells me that the engine needs to be at top dead center at the end of the compression stroke. How do you know where this is? Is it there when you line up the TR and TF mark on the crankshaft? Im guessing these marks mean Top Rear and Top Front? Thanks for helping man

You are on the right tract.
1. Set to TR mark on the crank at the inspection hole. Yes, R is for the rear.
Then set/align the 2 lines on the REAR cam sprocket.

2. Turn the crank end CLOCKWISE 270 degrees.

3. Set to TF mark. Yes, F is for the front.
Then seet/align the 2 lines on the FRONT cam sprocket.

Once you all do that, turn the crank by hand slowly and make sure valves don't hit the piston.

Ok Im going to try it this weekend. I pretty much knew how to do this except for the part where it talks about having the engine at the end of the compression stoke because it may bend the valves. I just wanted to be sure about it. Thanks alot man. By the way, what if the valves do hit the piston?
