Be carefull of thin ice... I was putting around in our forest, and I came to a bare spot on the ground... well there was never water there before so I thought nothing of it, you could see weeds and everything, but what I didn't know is that water had collected there from all of the snow melting, and the top had frozen to about 1 inch thick... and there was snow over this ice, so it didn't look like there was ice, well anyway I was half way across it when I heard this cracking sound and I tried to get off of the ice as fast as I could but.... no luck the rear end broke through the ice as I jumped off (good thing the water was only 3,4 ft deep. anyway only the rear end fell through covering the rear to the top of the rear rack, I left it running because the exhaust was covered, and the water was below the point of the air intake. Finally I got it out by pulling on the front end, good thing the 220 is only 405 pounds!! It was still a good workout getting it out of the water though, I'll remember not to ride there again!

the only real damage done was that the electric starter stopped working, water must have gotten in somewhere, nothing happens at all when the start button is pushed, not even a click.
